 Since 1974, Young Medical has been serving the needs of patients, physicians, hospitals, and long term care facilities in Northwestern Ohio and Southeastern Michigan. Young began as a respiratory specialty company, and is recognized for many "firsts" in the region.
We employed the first full time Respiratory Care Practitioner in home care; first to establish a home ventilator program; first to routinely follow-up and evaluate patients on respiratory services; first to offer a patient support group for adults suffering from sleep apnea and utilizing pressure support equipment for home treatment; and we have been considered the innovators in home respiratory care ever since. Young currently employs multiple full-time Respiratory Care Practitioners which is indicative of our commitment to respiratory excellence. Young expanded its home medical equipment (HME) and services in the mid-80's to include beds, wheelchairs, bath and ambulatory aids, and we have established a fine reputation in the orthopedic market-place. Full time orthopedic fitters provide expert service and consultation and are especially recognized for their product lines and compassion in the post-mastectomy marketplace.
Rehabilitation equipment and assistive technologies round out Young's offering of highly technical services that makes us the logical choice for all your homecare needs. Ultralights, power wheelchairs, seating evaluations, and 3 wheeled scooters are now available.
